Just wondering if you can clear coat this car and if so what types would be the best to use with the paints and decals already on the peices

Hi Shood, If you want my honest opinion I would say that there is no need for a clear coat but that does not stop you applying one if that's what you decide. I would wait until you are near completion of the build before making any decision. If you do go down the path of a clear coat then I can suggest using an Aquas clear. Hope this helps Spencer

i did clear coated the cowlings including the wings below are picture for you to decide, but still haven't finish with the main body yet

The clear coat look great, it's a matter of personal choice to the collector. The actual car had vinyl graphics so the 'glass smooth' appearance is better than the real car

did 5 coat of
mr colour GX100 super clear III ,thin with mr colour levelling thinner
let it dry for two weeks,then polish it
