Hi Andy, What a great build this is, love the second planking this looks a bit bigger than the Victory excellent build Andy Regards Trev. Work in progress: Tombstone (Scratch) - San Francisco 2. -The Mayflower ( scratch by plan).

Hi Trev Thanks for looking in and your comments. The Trinny is not quite as long as the Vic but is a little taller, I think she may look bigger because of the four decks. She is an enjoyable build with the good hard woods included and has gone together without ant major problems. Hi All Finally the lower planking is done and as you can see if you use all your offcuts where possible there is a goodly amount of planks left over . I have sanded back the white upper deck and will start on the lower deck tomorrow when the glue is fully cured. I have followed the instruction's to do the secondary planking as it was done in a different way to my usual planking method and I must say it worked out fine although I will probably carry on with my usual planking method from now on. There is still some trimming to do around the false keel area at the bow and stern . That just about concludes this month ,more soon Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Steve Thanks for looking in and your comments. As for the hull finish im not sure yet the decks have been coated in Danish Oil so I wont be using that on the hull maybe a satin varnish or shellac we will have to see Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Trev Thanks for looking in and your comments there always appreciated. There's a little more to add to the upper hull before I can get some seal on the wood to bring out the grain and colour. IF you have a look at Steve's build diary he shows the Triny in front of his Vic build which gives a good idea of the size of both Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .
