Thanks Spencer, now I will put all the part in the washing machine I have justy purchased WURTH cyanoacrylate adhesive gel. Will this be any good? It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Just for our SA guys, I bought these screwdrivers from Midas a few years back for some electronic projects and they seem to be quite decent. AndreZS1AZ attached the following image(s): It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Hi Tomick, I am wondering. Can DeAGOSTINI not get together with KYOSHO and make up a pack of spares, tyres and wings, for example and offer it worldwide. I like throwing a stone in the bush and see what comes out I think that there will be lots of takers to make it worthwhile. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Its not wise to offer as a pack as not everyone will want the same items, hopefuly spares wil be made available as back issues, then you can pick and choose what you need.

F1 cars always has a high gloss finish which those poor pit macks keeps on polishing to a perfect shine. The RB 7 build however comes in a matt finish and with the stickers creating shiny parts it does create a bit of an offset to the finish. I bought an additional Front wing on which I am going to experiment finishing the job off with a clear coat to add the shine and make the colors pop a bit more.
Any suggestions in regards to this?

Sparrowtwin here from PE. Can't believe how much changes in 21 days. Before this came I was "Formula 1, go Ferrari." But since I built issue 1 and subscribed to the RB7 I've become a fanatic! Bought the FIA F1 2012 game for XBOX and raced the RB7 on almost every circuit Love F1 now. Much more entertaining than the new Super-boring Rugby. Was awesome to race the Canadian grand prix in the Redbull (on XBOX) and then see the amazing finish by Daniel Ricciardo! Go RedBull! I'm no longer a Ferrari fan, my allegiance has changed. Can't wait for the next F1! Even booked tickets to watch the Singapore Grand Prix. Who'd thought a little model could do that? Just waiting for my first postal package. Operator said it would be 21 days and that's tomorrow. Can't wait! I've bought screwdrivers, tweezers,a lamp, glue etc. In the last 21 days, I've built two other models (P 51- Mustang and the Airfix Ford Fiesta WRC rally car). Really glad I did that as I've made so many mistakes on both . Especially the glue and using enamel paint. Any advice on which glue to use for the future? Enjoy the build guys!!! sparrowtwin attached the following image(s): Life is precious...waste it wisely!

Hi Sparrowtwin and welcome aboard Your models look great and we all had to start somewhere! Look forward to seeing how the WRC Fiesta comes along too As for future glues, I'm guessing your enquiring about the better option to use on the plastic types of kit that you've shown us above? Well there is no real answer to that apart from what your happy with using, as you gather more experience you will find other alternatives to the glue that your using. I used to used the tube glue for plastic kits at first but then started to use MEK adhesive and it's probably the only stuff I use 99% of the time now. It's quick drying and it bonds the parts together in seconds, any excess that you have put on evaporates so no mess unless of course your using it on clear parts like canopies then I would recommend something different.. http://www.shop4glue.com...ndustrial-50ml-55-p.asp
Not sure what the alternative in SA is but the above link gives you an idea on what it is and what types of plastics it can be used on.. Spencer

I have just been to my post box and there is a small blue note in there saying that the parcel is too large for the PO Box. So guess who is collecting his first delivery at lunch time It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

Sparrowtwin, the Ford looks good. Now we must figure out how to stretch it to fit the RB7 running gear Lucas, welcome to the forum. Yes, time is now going to go slowly. You are going to get another issue 1 jwilkinson, I am going to do a build diary on my site. Can I have your permission to put your photo links on the site? I should be starting this weekend, but who knows what will happen seeing that it is a long weekend. Lots of other stuff to do It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop
