Hi All I have now put together one of the gun carriages and gave it a coat of undercoat then a base coat of matt black, these are only the wooden parts apart from the wheel retainers and the central block where brass rod has been used. There is more in the way off metal fittings to be added yet and I may finish off with a coat of semi-gloss black to give a more pitch type look. More soon Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Andy! A very nice work, I really like it! Can you post a pic with a ruler to see the dimensions? Regards, Bernd

Hi Trev Thanks for looking in and your comments there is still loads more detail to add and I think the best way to do this build is to work outwards from the inside And your right about it drawing you in to it. Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Bernd Thanks for you comments and looking in ,as asked for here are a couple of pic's with a ruler .As its hard to see the size is aprox 255 mm square or 10 inches square in old imperial. So not too big but still a nice size. Regards Andy arpurchase attached the following image(s): Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Hi Andy, Good to see the start of the detail. Was it difficult to install the table and benches?, as it looks like you don`t have much room to play with. Looking forward to the next installment. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Not too big for a good presentation, not too small to make a lot of details! Best regards, Bernd

Hi Derek The main deck is around 10 inches square the height in between the formers is around 3 and a half inches so quite manageable and I have big hands. I just think that its easyer to work from the centre outwards in this build. The table is held in place at the hull end by a brass pin the other end by a rope and hook so quite easy to fit and thanks for looking in and your comments.
