Hi I have taken on the task of building this red bull rb 7. i would like to know that with the spare race body of the car, do you also get a set of front and rear wings ? or should i buy 2 of each front and rear wings for my model as i know that will be the first thing that will get damaged should there be an error in handling the car.

Hi Laszlo, after reading all the forums and comments, it seems that we will get seperate wings for the racing body.

Thanks andre, I hope that they will also release
Separate sets of tyres as well. I would not like
Spend this kind of money on a model and not have
Spares later on.

Good morning Laszlo, what I understand is that there will be an extension of the build with I think another 25 issuesCrying This will include a 2 speed gearbox and another 2 sets of tyres. Possibly a hard and a soft. There will not be spares as such. We will have to buy extra issues if we want spares and that is a pityMad

Thanks again andre, I suppose it will not hurt to buy extra suspension parts for back up, as I know that wings and suspension are quite easily damaged. I know this from racing 1:8 scale nitro cars.

Thanks for the correction of the issues TomickBlushing 15 sounds much better than 25. Let's see how things go with the build and then see what spares we need.

Hi Dboneyx13, let's try and sort this out. With my Welcome letter it said that I will recieve 2 issues with my first post with the toolbox. It then said that I will get another 2 issues with no gift. After that I will recieve 4 issues per month at the end of the month. That is how I work it out and have no problems. I have done a partwork before with no problems. If I had a hassle, I would contact Jacklin in SA and it was sorted out quickly. The tool box WILL be sent to us at a later stage when they have stock. I hope this answers your question and puts your doubts to rest. Tomick, do you want to add anything?

Thank you Tomick and AndreZS1AZ. I just read about a couple of people battling with there orders. I just don't want the same to happen to me. But it does sound more like the people buying from their local news agent rather than the subscribers. But thank you again.BigGrin

I would not worry about buying online. The small screwdrivers can be bought at Midas and tweezers at your local chemist. Small pliers should also be available from Midas. I prefer to subscribe as the news agents sometimes do not get issues or they just stop stocking them. Also, no free gifts from the news agents, subscribers only.

Hi Andre

I am currently getting my issues through CNA, they have been pretty good with the mclaren i built. maybe later on in the build i may change my mind, but it is working for me now as i can buy extra issues for spare part purposes as i wish.

cheers

Hi Guys! Yeah I am currently subscribed, but i also buy extra issues as they would become spares. such as issue 4 with the shock absorber. instead of stripping your screws taking it out and adjusting all the time, i just keep sets of different heights. much easier. apparently there are some revisions on the shocks, but im afraid i dont know more than that. by the way, the build is looking good so far, Andre=) Fancy pit crew haha!BigGrin LOL

Sharkie15, leave the shocks until issue 26. This is when you will get the extra washers.
