Hi all a small update on rigging the Scotland Lots of running rigging and blocks The blocks that comes with the kit are rubbish you have to re drill the holes to get the line to run through  still hear are the results Thanks for looking in rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ?

Thanks Alan Dave and Ian for the bril comments The Scotland is now finished Would I build this kit again no . The metal fittings had more flash and mould lines I have ever seen and the quality of the parts was very poor for a kit that costs nearly £80 quid  I also did not use the cotton for the sails as this was far to heavy and so over scale  Still on the up side I now know how to do ratlines and rigging Thanks for looking rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ?

Lovely work Martyn, the end result looks amazing. Sorry to hear that you were not too happy with the overall kit but you did a great job on it. The experience will certainly help when you get to rig the SOTS Steve

Nice work Martyn, you've turned out a lovely model there and despite the set-backs mentioned, a really satisfying result. It's been a pleasure following this diary. You've obviously gained a lot of experience from this build. Well done.
