Hi, can anyone explain why there is a helmet with decals in issue 19 and an air filter helmet with issue 78?

Hi stevecol, the one helmet is for display purposes and the one with the air filter is for racing. I hope that this answers your question. It's not the fall that kills you, it's the sudden stop

It just seems odd that directly above the helmet is the air intake. It would have made sense to use that. Thanks for the response

The helmet for the display body and racing body differ, in that the helmet of the racing body has been designed to contain the air filter element because of the position of the carb and would havwe been more complex to route via the airbox.
