hi spence, not entirely new,the camera is a sony cyber-shot dsc-qx10. meant to use with the I-phone,but can be used for the I-pad, it has 16mb. pixels and zooms x10,you need to use app.mobile play memory.the software used was camerabag2 downloaded to an I-mac. the camera automatically replaces the I-pad camera and is wi-fi, it's very small,it looks more like a small zoom lens, and I have it on a tiny tripod,or hooked over the lid of the I-pad. I have found it very easy to use, and is very simple to hook up. all pics download to the I-mac automatically.

we have moved on a bit since the last postings, had a rethink on the colour scheme, decided to revert to brass finish up top,and black/red below.

Karl

Now that looks really good my own preference being that lovely brass finish rather than all painted (each to their own I know).

Been keeping an eye on this build for sometime now and yours along with Mr T latest instalment convinced me to sign up to this one which I did in my lunch break today.

I think the tipping point to subscribe was seeing all those electronic bits and pieces along with that rolling road - it's going to look a brilliant model when complete.

Looking forward to your ongoing updates with great interest.

Happy modelling

Tony

Looks great. I'm going for the same colours on my wheel assemblies. Did you order gauge decals yet?

thank you all for the progressive comments,I thought that having a split paint job shows the brass to better effect, tony you will not be disappointed, this is the best value for money kit on the market imho.gary I have decals for the gauges,if only I can find them?and finally andy, this is a little different, but heck what ever you do with this kit it will look good.Crying Blink BigGrin
