Thanks Alan for the bril comments Next bit of the build issues 90/93 Glued the cleats and eye bolts to the deck Next painted and fitted the decorations to the stern Next job painting the Seahorse and Dolphin decorations and fitting them to the side of the ship I am left with 2 seahorse looking to the right should have one right and one left A bit more painting of side decorations The side lanterns have been filled with some brass grille I had left over Thanks for looking rgd Martyn Martyn Ingram attached the following image(s): Building ? Hi all and thanks for the nice comments guys Sorry I have not been on a lot but have been looking at all the fantastic builds out there Just a small update on my build Painted and fitted the deadeyes to the wale then painted the bling to go on the side Next job nailing the chains to the side of the ship very fiddly Next up the half cannons and the pinrail . Painted and drybrushed the cannons and painted the rail in walnut varnish Last job the bow platform . Painted the strip gold and fitted then the trucks after that the cranes The cranes where painted in walnut after carving . Martyn A excellant update to your build diary. You have a stunning model and when complete it will look awesome. Have you given any thought to how you will display it? Ie a cover or case for it. Happy Modelling
