I have smudged the Goodyear logo on the nose. But I have found a water slide one the same on the marlboro decal sheet. You could use micro mesh to remove the logo but you will need to make sure that your carefull not to damage any of the other logos while doing so.. http://www.amazon.co.uk/...Sandpaper/dp/B003RTABUK

Who suggested that? Not from this forum I'm guessing  if nail polish remover removes nail polish then what do you think it will do to the paint on the nose? You could try it on some scrap but I would not recommend using it straight on your model until you can be sure it won't damage the nose. Regards Spencer

Maybe I should just use the sweat from my finger as that was what smudged it in the first place!  . The thing with the nail polish I have heard before but can't remember where. surgical spirit will remove decals (including laser printed decals) use with a cotton bud.Do not use acetone (nail varnish remover) as this can attack certain plastics

The logos on the parts supplied are not waterslide decals or stickers Supaheli they are screen printed and applied during the manufacturing process. Any attempt to remove with a knife will permanently damage the part. Waterslide decals and stickers do not smudge but screen printed logos can smudge if care is not taken when handling parts, remove grease and oils from hands by washing them in warm soapy water first  Regards Spencer

It would be far easier to send out water stickers or non water stickers to the customer like rb did with the display helmet... less chance of it getting damaged or smudged. That or they forgot to clear coat over it Supaheli

This is probably too late for reply ,but here my suggestion. I my self use Plastic polish compound to remove lettering without damaging the white paint on the plastic. Sending it or using NPR will damage the paint over plastics. NPR only works on Diecast models.
Plastic Polish compound will take time to remove it ,but it's the best way to remove it without causing damage to white base coat.

If you line it up correctly then it would look fine, wouldn't it?

There's no rush Steve and when the time comes hopefully we will have the perfect solution plus it saves the possibility of damaging the Decal if you put it on now.. Spencer

1200 grit sandpaper, followed by a polish with some Micromesh sandpapers all the way up to 12000 grit, very carefully doesn't need to be said.
It will polish the plastic right up to pristine condition, and then re-apply the decal. :)
