Hi guys, My name is Chris. I found out about DeAGOSTINI few weeks ago. Although I'm new to this forum and Deagostini models, I've been collecting Diecast models since 1996 and have about 1200 1/18 scale models. I have some questions for US subscribers. I did not know there was US version of subscription and searched through Ebay for MP4/4. I was lucky enough to find Japanese subscription version on Ebay that weren't yet complete. What I bought contained Vol.1 through Vol.33. I called the Model space other day and found out that US subscription works different than the Japanese or UK subscription. Is it true that US subscriber receive up to 8 package(volumes) per month instead of weekly volume? I think the agent on the phone made mistake. It should be more like 3.5 vol per month if subscription lasts 20 month to complete. My goal is to start the subscription after vol.33 or buy the rest of the kit as whole. So I won't have to buy something I already have. However, Model space agents couldn't figure it out because my subscription is from Japan and he insists that it's different from US subscription. Last volume I have is number '33' which contains rear left hub assembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! Chris

Firstly, welcome to ModelSpace.
It is true that the US rollout differs to the UK and Japan. How a series is offered or delivered, often differs from one country to the next.
You should check with US customer service that you will in fact be able to subscribe from the pack that contains Issue 33, as it could well be that being so late in the series, its not possible to do so.

Thanks for the warm welcome Mr.T! Yeah, I did call them ,but they couldn't understand when I told them I have up to vol.33. I was wondering if US version is marked differently from Japanese or UK version. I'm going to call them again and tell them what kind of parts I have so far and see if they can start me in from what I have so far...wish me luck!

You will have confused them as they are not that far ahead and won't talk in issues numbers but pack numbers
MP4/4 parts for all countries it has been released into are identical.

I just received my pack 2, but I was a little slow out of the gate. I believe pack 3 has shipped to those who subscribed earlier than I. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

oh..wow. Just started not to long ago. Quick question, Do you guys have picture of the package? Is it different from the picture I posted above? My pack 1 (Vol.1) Contains nose cone like UK or Japanese version. I assume US version has more parts per package ,since it's monthly magazine instead of weekly. Thanks for the reply!

Also, the US version does not include the outer box, only the parts in blister packaging.

Yes, each pack of parts has a number which relates to the stage/issue number.
