I will be in Portsmouth on the 21st August with Tis and hopefully Jamie to take as many photos as possible of the Victory. anybody else who thinks they can make it is more than welcome. I plan to hit Victory as soon as she opens to get pics when she is quiet. let me know if you are gonna show up and we will arrange to meet up. “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

I would love to join you, but been informed It wont be possible with the chair, I said I could possible make it on Crutches, but was advised for safety reasons, not to try. So please can I ask a favour, would you please be able to take some close up pictures of the figure head, crest etc, I would be eternally grateful. Best wishes David Ship Builds on the go

Will do that for you Lonestar, but judging from the pictures that were put on a couple of weeks ago (can't remember who by at the moment) the figure head had been taken down and there was scaffolding around port bow??? With a bit of luck that will be finished by the time we go and sorry that you cannot make it. Have replyed to your e-mail Jase, see you there. TIS
