Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I've been looking for a decent formula one kit that was worthwhile for some time and just stumbled across the McLaren MP4-23 last night. I've built a couple nitro vehicles in the past so I hope that I'll be able to do this. Iwanted something that was worthwhile and not RC and this looked to fit the build. I've also been looking for something to do to relieve my stress from work. I decided to buy the McLaren with the 12 monthly build phases so I can take my time and do a good job on the build and not create any un necessary stress on myself. I'm excited to give this a go and hopefully take a stab at another one next year. Best, Barry Building - DeAgostini HMS Victory, McLaren MP4-23, Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa, Harley Davidson Fat Boy, Lamborghini Countach

Thanks for the kind words all. I feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas morning. I'm constantly checking my emails to see if the first installment shipped. Nothing yet Hopefully next week. Hi Ponty, it is a little frustrating waiting for those first issues to arrive but once your build gets going you should find the issues arriving on a regular basis, perhaps too quickly for you to keep up.... The frustation you feel will then very quickly disappear and this will be a distant memory..... I loved feeling like a kid waiting for Christmas morning and when it arrived...WOW..... Many moons ago now... Regards Alan

Hi Barry. You've chosen a great kit to build ( not sure about the stress relief ). I hope you can put some pictures up as the build gets going. All the best. Malc.
