Thats not possible for a standard 787 the stresses it would create for the wings would snap like twigs  Supaheli

 Those are all possible with the size of the aircraft but pretty tame to what the test pilot of the jumbo jet used to do  Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

The fact is it's a real 787 doing the manoeuvres caught on camera so it is possible  Spencer

Supaheli, there is a huge difference between the normal operational stress on an aircraft and the maximum stress they are capable of surviving. They have to be able to cope with massive stresses to manoeuvre in emergency situations. Steve

I don't see anything in that clip that would tell me the aircraft was being over stressed.... Seeing what the vomit comet goes through would I believe be a lot more stressful on the airframe.... Regards Alan
