Just had a look at the instructions for the next stage which is making the cranes..

Do you think it would be a good idea to glue de-headed nails in to the crane where it is glued to the ship??

Just thought with it being a "sticky out" bit the extra support might stop them being knocked off as we progress

It would certainly make them less prone to being easily knocked off and less resitant to being tugged off when the anchor ropes are threaded.

Hi Riff-raff, when I make a start on the catheads I fully intend to add a pin in the centre to give them added support when attaching to the upper bulkheads.... Have already done the same with pin rails, bit posts and recently the chainwale platforms....
