Phillips size 00, 0, 1 & 2 Screwdrivers. (Be aware that the tip sizes can vary).
Small flat-bladed screwdriver for adjusting the carburettor.
Modelling knife.
Needle nose pliers.
Side cutters.
Scissors.
Metal rule.
You will receive allen key (hex) wrenches where needed during the series.
A cross wrench is provided at stage 8.
Take great care to identify the correct Screw type and length of screw required for each build stage.
You will require a good quality 'thread locking' fluid.
Differential grease is provided in the collection, however you may wish to consider using an 'anti-fling' heavy duty type, such as "Hpi Z164 heavy duty" grease.

Hi all Can anyone tell me if I went the hpi z164 route how much I will need as they seem very small tube 6g Thanks

Three tubes should be enough, one each for the front and rear diff's and another for geared reduction hubs, though you might want to invest in four and keep one for servicing etc
