okay so the victory is my first ever build like this.
i have built r/c boats from plasticard from strach but never anything like this.
so i decided to go and do the endeavour as well as a practice, its a nice boat, easy difficulty degree and not to big.
but 3 of my lounge walls are barely 3m long, the window wall has 2 sloped cieling things either side of the window, and i really would like to build the following
victory endeavour cutty sark surprise and the bounty.
my partner is building a 4ft long titanic and im getting the titanic lifeboat as a anniversary gift. so it will be interesting to see where the heck im gunna put them all!
i can fit the victory and endeavour side by side on one wall. maybe another small boat above the endeavour. but the others are like over a meter long.
not going to be able to move through them all hahaha

There is a post in Other Builds. It is a basic kit but I am scratch building most of the deck fittings to try and make it as close to the film versions as possible.

a paino would occupy half the lounge, especaily with my computer desk, as my pc is custom built and runs 3 monitors its a big desk.
i do agree with hanging from the celing though, if your room is tall enough that is, i should imagine the aircraft is a good 5-6 inches tall. at least if its above the piano you probably wont have to duck to get underneath it

Quote:My model of the victory will go on top of the piano....the only problem i have where is my 1/32...37 inch wing span model of the lancaster bomber going to go I hope it's a concert grand and you built her light if you are going to take the Lanc. off of there, Snowtiger. Better check the bilges too before moving the Victory in. Saltwiter isn't good for polished surfaces.

Yay the missus has agreed that it would look good in the office hanging from the celing.( the lancaster that is).. But i'd better make sure that it is fastened into a beam or if that beggar falls ....so will half the celing
