Looking at that first picture (Nice link Steve)it may be a Sleeve failure as happened to VR930 whilst I was still on Historic Flight...The white smoke from one exhaust pipe is a bit of a clue.....When VR930's failed all there was, was the white smoke, a 50 rpm drop in engine revs and a bit of vibration........When I removed the cylinder though, it was utter devastation......If I remember correctly the T20 is on long term loan to the RNHF from Kennet Aviation, so presumably will go back there for repair...........Tony Just spotted this..... http://www.youtube.com/w...K8P6k&feature=player

Thanks Tony, your link certainly clarifies what happened, shame the gear didnt lock to minimise the damage. I watched this one when I was at RNAS Yeovilton last saturday, such a nice aircraft, hope she's flying again soon Steve
