I like it, I have this kit too, if this is the Tamiya 1/24 scale? I plan to have mine as a non runner though on a little dio. Build diary to follow You have done a great job on this one! Steve

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. Yes, I must admit it was fun. I tried using a product called scenic rust but alas I found it didn't work too well. What I did have success with, was the hairspray method, the base coat being enamel and top coat acrylic with some salt thrown in. I also used pastel chalks quite extensively too.
