Some very good savings to be had on a range of plastic kits here

http://www.wonderlandmodels.com/sale/airfix/

The above link opens at the airfix sale but look down the left hand col for sale items by other manufacturers. Used wonderland models recently for my alclad paint order and was very impressed with their service.

Just ordered myself the hms illustrious kit (hope it's in stock) at a bargain £29.99

They also have a 1:24 gr3 harrier for the same price.

Thought I would share in case anyone is after a particular kit and is looking for a saving.

Happy modelling

Tony

Always worth compairing prices with Wonderland. i have used them and the service is good but somtimes there sale price just aligns to others normal price - not always i might add and i certainly have found consumerbuls and kits cheaper on other sites such as Emodel, boystown and even hannants

Some nice kits there Tony, the Lusty is particularly good value at that price and well worth grabbing. As Jase said though, if there is a sale at one site it's generally across the board so you may get them a couple of quid cheaper elsewhere. For instance the sea harrier frs1 and battle of britain spitfire are cheaper at Jumblies - same P+P too

Steve

An interesting link - thanks. That is one company I have never heard of before.

It's interesting because as you say they are cheaper on the 1:24frs harrier but more expensive on the gr3 model.

Guess it's a case of looking and looking to try and find the best prices.

My illustrious kit will be delivered tomorrow so fairly pleased with that one. Postage is always a frustrating annoyance but added a few other items to my order so not too bad.

If we had a decent town and some decent shops it would cost me £1.80 each way on the bus so it all pans out in the end.

Thanks again for the link - it's one I will look at future.

Happy modelling

Hi Tony, yes, some kits more expensive there and some cheaper - basically just means you got to do a search for each kit for the best price.

The main thing is that you got that Lusty for a fab price and that one was £50 at Jumblies so well done there BigGrin

Tempted to go for the sea harrier myself!

Cheers

use them all the time, their on-line sale is good but the shop is a great place to browse, the staff are well knowledged in all aspects of modelling, they also will get a model for you if you ask and also have a good range of model boat kits (wooden)
current builds
