Issues 7,8 & 9 delivered. Unfortunately 10 is out of stock and hopefully get it delivered with next shipment. Overall the Black Pearl is going quick so I ordered 0.5x2mm lime wood for the 1st deck. Kept me busy for a few hours. Perhaps should have gone for 1x5mm strips, still undecided. Small gap to be filled where holding cells should be. Thinking of tinting the deck black Japan and then sand down with a fine grain. Current Builds: Sovereign of the Seas The Black Pearl Amati Adventure Pirate Ship

Nice work so far Fred and I like the idea of painting the planking in Black Japan and then sanding back, I used to make alot of concrete statues and birdbaths etc and I used to antique them with black oxide by brushing it on letting it dry and then washing it off so the oxide stayed in the grooves and stains the concrete. I was thinking of doing this with the decking on my SOTS build and see how it would work. Eugene.
