Thanks for all the positive comments Well, this one is now finished, it was just a matter of placing the aircraft and vehicles and then preparing the base. The base didnt go 100% to plan, the resin I use is 1% catalyst and when I made a smaller mix just to top up at the end I "judged" the amount required instead of using the syringe. I wouldnt have been far out as I use a 250ml jar for mixing but evidently there was too much hardener in the mix. The result is some slight cracking at the edges of the sea near the frame border due to drying too fast - lesson learned (again ) It can be fixed though with a little more resin where its cracked and this will hopefully flow into the last layer. Here is just one pic to show it's done - there will be an entry in the finished builds later tonight with many more pics Steve stevie_o attached the following image(s):
