Help,I have put on the 1st deck and the supports around, and painted the black, then decided to go for the cut away section, so i have cut the section of the support away only to leave the black paint on the deck !!!! how do i remove ? or is it worth planking the deck infront of the cut away section,

Hi there,

I'm not opting for the cutaway but I'm sure someone who is can confirm - I believe the cutaway section will be planked anyway so i wouldn't worry about the paint as it will be covered by the planks later on.

There is some talk of a diorama to 'slot-in' to the cutaway section as-well I think unless I am mistaken!

Cheers,
Tom

no, I dont think the cutaway section will be planked, how can you plank it once the next gun deck is fixed into position. if you check the official build diary, you will see that the planks are just drawn on around the entry ports. so i think the cutaway section will be the same or not even drawn.

The cut away section will have a diorama to slide into it so no planking drawn or otherwise!!BigGrin BigGrin So I think you will find the paint wont show.BigGrin BigGrin The only planking is for the entry ports, and that is drawn, although I will be planking mine!!BigGrin Cool BigGrin
