hi after watching the film first of the few over the weekend it would be great to build a schneider trophy seaplane cant find a model of one but think it would look great beside a spitfire. benny.b.

Well that was 2 of us watching it. What a brilliant film. For the time full of bravado ( and rightly so) and fly the flag.

I seem to recall reading that as the spitfire developed they did actually put one on floats against the model types 355 & 359.

Now that could be an enhancement Deagostini could possible consider to it's present spitfire release.

There was a 1/72 scale model of the Schneider many years ago, I can't remember now if it was Airfix or possibly Frog. I do remember the damned float struts were really fiddly!!Blink
