Hi All! I haven't sent any massages for a long time because of several reasons. Recently I have started building a cut model of the IJN Aircraft Carrier Akagi in 1/144 scale and attch here some photos of it. We will have a small annual exhibition of war ship models in the near future, and I am going to display some models there. This cut model is one of my models. This is not a kit but an original one. I guess I will not finish this model at the beginning of the exhibition. I can only build a flight deck and a bridge as far as possible in this time. The completed cut model with a hull, a lift and other structures will be build for next year. I'll occasionally sent reports here A Japanese proverb says that Talk about next year and the devil will laugh ( God knows what may happen next year). Best Regards, Yutaro Yutaro HONMA attached the following image(s): DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. You've set a challenge there for yourself - I will follow this with great interest as I am planning on building the deag version once my Yamato is complete. You do not need a parachute to skydive. You only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Hi Andy! Thank you for a comment on my post. Fortunately I found a provider who sells unused wood dishes for TAKOYAKI (Octopus balls). Otherwise I have to eat a lot of TAKOYAKI and will become more fat. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI. Hi Riff-raff! Thank you for your comment. I'm very happy that you follow my diary. If you build DeAGO's AKAGI, I am afraid there are some pit falls in building explanations (The kit is a good model itself). I hope that you will refer to my posts on "Akagi model discussion" before building. Best Regards, Yutaro DeAGOSTINI 1/250 the YAMATO, 1/250 the AKAGI.
