Hi all, Move over and the dockyard being rebuilt and re-organized, will be back in production shortly from its new location. The old Vic moved well with only minimal damage. The port boomkin and beakhead came adrift but will be re-glued as soon as the dockyard is ready, which should be by the end of the week. Thank you, your support really keeps one going and Robin never thought of it in that way. Maybe someone should do a damaged model, it would be a unique model. Take care though. Every time I make a restart I seem to make of manner of mistakes. Getting rusty I guess.

Hans, I admire your skill with the rigging. I had watched closely when my friend build his Victory and its sometime nerve wrecking watching him doing those tiny knots. Your craft of the Victory looks beautiful. Post more pictures of your progress. Marcel "Rather try and fail than had failed to try".Sovereign of the Seas Model Space forum: Marcel's build

Thanks Marcel. I did not use the knot method but the needle method. Learnt a valuable lesson as well, do not use superglue on the thread if you can help it. It is very hard to pierce and pull the thread through. But all went well. Thanks for the compliment and interest, how is your build coming on? Hello fellow builders. I have not posted in a while so I thought I would catch up a little. I have been busy with the setting up and rigging of the sails. I have completed the fore sails and yards and am currently busy with the main sails. More to follow as I sort the lighting and the camera out. Comments and thoughts welcome.
