Thank you for all your kind comments, the support is really appreciated. Alan, the end is in sight but so much to do as I still need to do the cutaway, however, the next project is a threesome, cross section Victory, cross section Endeavour and the beginning of the Akagi for something different. I have purchased an airbrush and mini compressor to learn how to airbrush, so have set a nice challenge for myself. Hi Hans, So this is why you went so quiet in the North. The Victory is looking splendid. Nice to know you've got yourself an airbrush and "mini" compressor not like the giant you had before . Which airbrush and compressor did you get ? Speak to you soon, Regards Steve Present Build: San Fransisco II, 1/32 Lancaster Bomber

Hello Steve, thanks for looking in. Can't blame the Vic sails for everything. Spent a couple of weeks in Colombia for my eldest son's wedding and she (SWAMBO) is emigrating to SA. Great time beautiful country, wonderful people, but build must go on. The compressor is an Air Craft as 189, 1/6hp, 20-23L per minute, 3 litre tank with a double switch. The air brush is a starter kit, Eurasia AB 101A, 15 - 50 psi, spray pattern 1/4 to 1 1/2" I know it is a starter kit because its name say it all, 101 for dummies. Never fear it the proverbial hits the fan, you will be the first to get a call. Thanks for looking in Steve, yes the end is in sight but still have much to do, all the finiky stuff. I must admit that when I compare the start to where I am, I am quite surprised and proud of what I have achieved so far. The experience has been awesome hence all the models under the bench. The bug has really bitten, think I can call myself and enthusiast now!!
