Even with the use of a loaner engine from the BBMF, they have incurred significant costs to swap out the engine plus facilitate the repairs to our engine, which will needed to be ready for the end of September for its return to Canada.

This is a big shame as so many people could now miss out on the final flights if its not fixed quickly, hopefully there will be spare engines available and the best of luck to all involved .
Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

What a shame for many, tomorrow's event was a sell-out Crying

It's possible they may now reduce the number UK commitments out of preservation's sake, as it's a the long journey home yet to be made.

Hi All, BigGrin

Some news on the Kirkby 3 Lancs cancelled appearance Yesterday.

It seems that the scheduling involves an accumulation of flying hours.

That said it appears that by cancelling one fly-past they may be able to reschedule the first 3 Lancs display.

See Link below:

3 Lancs One - Take Two

Hope this makes some people happy BigGrin

It seems that the appearances are now back on track, but it appears there were many moans as to why at least the BBMF Lanc did not do a flypast at this weeks Lanc event.
The reason being was to store its flying hours for a re-schedule of the appearance, otherwise this may have meant the BBMF Lanc could not then appear at te re-scheduled event.
