Hello Andre
2 months is not good at all. Customer service should be able to tell you why there is a delay. Maybe you should try and escalate the problem to one of their managers if they do not give you a satisfactory answer. It is not uncommon to wait but they normally tell you why. If you still have no joy PM admin with your account number, let them assist you.

Hi all, well, it seems that I must eat humble pie. I contacted customer service on Monday and they told me that the parts are on their way, so it looks like everything is under control. I went and fetched the parcel today at lunch time so I can now do a little bit of buildingBigGrin I will be sending them an e-mail to try and find an answer to the big delay that I had and possibly find out when I should be expecting the next lot. One mistake that I found was that issue 10 gives instructions for fitting the RH tyre and not fitting the stickers to the helmet, but that is not the end of the world.

Hi Willie. I waited 2 months+ for my 3rd delivery, check my posts. The parts will come so be patient. I ordered some boat parts from overseas and I hope that the PO will deliver.

Did anyone notice that the magazine printed the same assembly (for right front wheel) twice?

Just received the following email from Jacklin -

Dear Subscriber.

Once again the post office has embarked on a full-on strike. We have no idea how long this will last.

It’s really frustrating as we would love for you to receive your shipments on time. Please note that once the strike is over you will receive your parcels. We apologise for the inconvenience and would like to ensure you that we are looking for an alternative delivery option going forward.

We thank you for your loyal support and will let you know once this matter has been resolved.

Regards,
Jacklin Enterprises

Looks like the next shipment may take a while Mellow

Hi Andre

I,m from Germany. My family is living in south Africa,so as my two brother's . I also heard about the strike with the post. Its very sad. My brother is also waiting for his issues for the Rb7,but nothing arrives. He doesnt want to collect the car anymore because sometimes it arrives, and sometimes it dissapears. I collected the rb7 2 times. Tomorrow I am going down too South Africa for a holliday visiting my brother in Brits, and want too surprise him with something he doesn't know.
As you can see down below its a suitcase with 115 issues from the Red bull, and 34 issues from the Hummer H1. I wish you guys best Luck for your issues,an my the strike be finished soon.

Best greetings , or ek wens julle veel geluk dat alles goedgaan met julle issues,en die post ophou met strike

Hi Andreas, welcome to the forum and welcome to South Africa because you will be here by the time that you read this. I wish that I had a brother like you. Well done and I hope that he enjoys the build. Hmm, customs might be a problem, they are full of xxxx as I found out when I came back from China in 2007. Enjoy your stay.

Hi Andreas, I am glad that you visited the National Park and we all hope that you are enjoying your stay in South Africa. I think that your brother is very happy with all the parts that you brought him. I would like to have the Hummer instead of the RB7 but it was never offered in South Africa.
It seems that there might be some light at the end of the tunnel for us. Issues have been posted so let's see what arrives.

So I just read that the SA Postal service's board resigned, absolutely not good news at all. Surely Jacklin must come up with an alternative plan here?
