not sure if they would try to recover it, or what the condition would be like - seem to recall reading that the extreme cold preserves very well. Happy Modelling

Its an interesting find as they have been searching for these ships for years, this expedition was the one first to use canned food as supplies but unfortunatly they used lead solder to seal the cans hence the food was contaminated with lead which lead to them all slowly suffering the ravages of lead poisoning which then affected decisions made on the expidition. Andy That sounds pretty grim. Guess they must have thought they had something very "modern" not realising the dangers they were letting themselves in for. Happy Modelling
