Andy Coming along very well indeed. I beginning to wonder how awkward this might be to paint at the end of the build. I believe you get some instruction to disassemble some sections but having just completed my pack no 4 mailing there looks already to be some hard to reach areas. You've given me something to think about Look forward to your next instalment Happy Modelling

Hi Tony Thanks for looking in and your comments. As for the painting you are right about there being some painting instructions towards the end of the build but personally I think painting as you go is the best option as it breaks things down to small bites and you can see the results. Looking great Andy I guess your rear wheels are in contact with ground and you dont have my issue? “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Hi Jase Thanks for looking in and your comments, as for your wheel problem I think its like Karl says ,that it has to do with the parts being correctly placed on the engine such as left side to the left ect . Its easy to mix them up when there painted as there are no left or right markings to distinguish them.Hope this helps Regards Andy Current builds:-C57,Zero, Lamborghini Countach, Caldercraft HMS Agamemnon,Robi,R2-D2, MFH Cobra .

Andy Many thanks for the update on the painting query. Having just completed my pack 4 will have to decide what option to take very soon I think.mi have held off on the smoke box build until I get the boiler parts and can line the whole thing up at once. I am waiting for a small die cast of the D51 in orient express markings to see how easy it might be to reproduce the scheme. The sticking point might be the logo markings but we will see http://www.newhallstatio...6-2/KA-2016-2_06_lg.jpg
