The two remaining flying Lanc`s are to refly the Derwent Dam in Derbyshire, as they did in practice for the Dam`s Raid.

The flight will take place this Sunday at approx 16:45.

(Weather permitting) Crying

Severn Trent Water, who control the dam and local waters have made the following info available:

The best place to view the event will be on the moor alongside the reservoir, to see down the valley.

There is very limited parking available.

A shuttle bus service will be provided.

This will be one awesome sight if you can get there.

Its also the penultimate opportunity to see the Canadian Lancaster in the UK before she departs for home via Coningsby at 10:00am on the 23rd for return to Canada. The first transit stop on the return flight will be Keflavik, Iceland.
