Steve

Looks like the news must have seen nothing of significance happening in the world today LOL

I live stories like this that within a few lines totally contradict themselves.

They say no human interventions caused the issue then go onto say:

"However they add stresses on the crew also played a part in the event"

It's good to see what used to be a half decent paper must now be employing Sun and Star writers LOL LOL LOL

Thanks for sharing.

Happy modelling

Tony

Did anyone see the Documentary on sky docs about the Titanic? total insurance scam involving its Sister Ship the Olympic!.. "Titanic" had left Southampton with so called unriveted Hull lower Starboard plates. in fact the problem was that there were small slits in the metal Hull plates letting in tons of water... sod the iceberg!! Joseph Bruce Ismay (designer) got off his mark when the boat started to sink.....talk about saving your own skin!
Promise too much ...and many will be in search of you!

They just won't let this one go will they!
1000's of workers in the Belfast shipyards didn't notice the ship they were building suddenly changed names? (And it doesn't matter how much they might have been paid off to keep quiet, someone would have talked even if only on their death bed!)
All of the component parts of both the Titanic and the Olympic were stamped with their own unique number, from the huge screws down to the individual instruments and gauges on the bridge, engine room, etc etc. The bridge has been photographed many times by the submersibles - all the number stamps found there belong to Titanic.
The leaking hull is a new one but wouldn't the stokers have noticed they were paddling in freezing cold water long before she began to go down at the head!!

It keeps people in jobs I suppose.BigGrin
