Pack 7 contains stages 21 - 23
Stage 21 – Contains the Monocoque inner rear plate, Front shock absorber cap, Front shock spring, Front shock absorber, Front shock absorber end, Stabiliser link and screws
Tools Required:
HIPs adhesive
Instant adhesive (CA, Super Glue)
A Phillips screwdriver
A sharp Knife
Cutting mat
Masking tape
TIP: Test fit all parts before gluing together
Assembling the Monocoque inner rear plate sides
Apply plastic adhesive to the six positions shown on the rear half of the Monocoque inner plate. Fit the front half onto the rear half and hold together for 2-3 minutes. Tighten a screw J (1.4 x 6P-M BK) into the 10 circled holes in the Monocoque inner rear plate.
Assembling the front left shock absorber, spring and cap
Place the front shock spring over the shaft of the front left shock absorber, as shown in the picture below. Insert the end of the front left shock absorber shaft into the recess in the shock absorber cap and tighten one screw L (1.4 x 8P-M SiL) into the hole in the cap as shown in the picture below.
Fitting the shock absorber end to the shock absorber
Apply HIPs adhesive to the recess at the end of the left front shock absorber. Place the shock absorber end into position, as shown in the picture below. (not the orientation) and hold together for a few minutes. Leave for around an hour to allow the glue to cure completely. The front left shock absorber is now complete.
Fitting the radiator to the radiator housing
Test-fit the radiator assembly into the larger hole in the radiator housing as shown in the picture below. Apply plastic adhesive to the three areas from which the paint was removed in a previous stage and combine the parts. Hold for a few minutes and allow to dry. You can add some masking tape to assist in keeping the parts together until dry.
Fitting the intercooler to the radiator housing
Test-fit the intercooler assembly into the square hole in the radiator housing as shown in the picture below. Apply a few dabs of CA glue to the top and bottom of the back of the intercooler, where the paint was removed in an earlier stage and combine the parts as shown in the picture below. Hold together for a few minutes until dry.

Stage 22 – Contains the Monocoque inner front plate, Front shock absorber, Front shock spring, Front shock absorber end, Front shock absorber cap, Stabiliser link, a 2.5mm mini screwdriver and screws

Tip: Always test fit parts before applying adhesive
Assembling the right front shock absorber, spring and cap
Assemble the right front Shock absorber as you did in the previous stage noting the orientation of the shock absorber end in the picture below.
Fitting the Monocoque inner rear plate to the Monocoque
Apply plastic adhesive to the inside of the Monocoque as shown in the picture below using HIPs adhesive. Hold into position for a few minutes until the adhesive sets.

Stage 23 – Contains the Monocoque bottom plate rear, Cockpit housing, Cockpit housing front plate, Shift panel, Balance lever linkage, Gear lever and screws.
Tip: Always test fit parts before adding adhesive.
Tools Required:
HIPs adhesive
Phillips screwdriver
Knife

Assembling the Monocoque parts
Insert the four projections on the cockpit housing base into the four holes in the Monocoque bottom plate rear.
Tighten a J screw into the hole in the corner of the bottom plate.
Apply HIPS adhesive to the shift panel, Insert the gear lever into the hole and hold in place for 2-3 minutes as shown in the picture below.
Fitting the balance lever
Remove the balance lever parts from there sprue and clean up any rough edges. Hold the balance lever part A with tweezers and apply a small amount of adhesive to it. Place part B into position and hold them together for a few minutes.
Apply HIPs Adhesive to the area where there is a small indent and fit the balance lever as shown in the picture below.
Fitting the balance lever linkage to the cockpit housing
Apply HIPs adhesive to the back of the balance lever and then fix into place as shown in the picture below.
Assembling the cockpit
Place 2xJ screws in the rear holes and tighten. Fit the Shift panel to the Cockpit housing and apply HIPs adhesive along the edge. Fit and tighten the remaining J Screw.
Fitting the cockpit housing front plate to the cockpit assembly
Take the front plate and notice the small hole needs to be to the right when looking from the front of the cockpit assembly as pictured below, once test fitted, apply HIPs adhesive to the edges of the front plate holding in position for a few minutes until the glue has set.

Pack 8 contains stages 24 - 27
Stage 24 – Contains: Monocoque front endplate, Steering guide plate, Stabiliser, front shock absorber plates (L and R) and the fire extinguisher upper and lower halves.
Tools required:
HIPs adhesive
Phillips screwdriver (size 00)
Sharp Knife

Parts to have ready:
Front left shock absorber (Stage 21)
Front right shock absorber (Stage 22)
Stabiliser links (Stages 21 and 22)
Screws J (1.4 × 6P-M BK) (Stages 21 and 22) × 2
Monocoque assembly (Stage 22)
Assembling the shock absorber plates, shock absorbers and stabiliser links
Prepare the stabiliser links, the two J screws and the left and right front shock absorbers, all from Stages 21 and 22. Loosen the screws holding the caps in place on the shock absorbers, until they can rotate.
Place the left and right front shock absorber plates down in front of you. Identify their fronts, tops and bottoms, as shown below. Prepare two 1cm lengths of masking tape.
Insert a J screw into the hole on the left front shock absorber plate from the inside as shown in the picture below. Place the larger hole of one of the stabiliser links over the screw, and align the smaller hole with hole at the top and apply some masking tape to hold it in position.
Insert the silver projection of the left shock absorber into the hole in the left shock absorber plate as shown below. Now Insert the smaller black projection into the hole and fit the blue-circled hole over the J screw. Make sure that the hole of the shock absorber is aligned with the end of the stabiliser link, as shown in the picture below.
Now turn the plate over and check that the two projections are properly inserted into the holes. Tighten the J screw into the hole to secure the stabiliser link and shock absorber to the plate. Then remove the masking tape.
Repeat the same process for the right side shock absorber plate.
Gluing the steering guide plate to the shock absorber plate
Place the 3cm length of masking tape onto the steering guide plate, as shown in the picture below below.
Peel back the masking tape a little, and apply HIPs adhesive to the outside edge of the guide plate. Combine the parts as shown below and allow to dry before continuing with the next step.
Insert the stabiliser into the holes as shown below and then combine the right side shock absorber assembly as shown below.
Fitting the Monocoque front endplate to the Monocoque
Remove the paint from the area on the Monocoque front endplate that will be fitted to the Monocoque but don’t remove the paint from the two indicated projections.
Test fit the end plate so you can see where the adhesive will make contact with the Monocoque inside walls as shown.
Apply a small amount of adhesive to the areas making contact and fit into position. Secure the front endplate to the Monocoque with the two strips of masking tape and set aside to dry.

You will need ready:
Head panel (Stage 17)
Monocoque endplate (Stage 17)
Monocoque inner rear plate (Stage 21)
Screws F (3 × 35C-M BK) × 2 (Stage 21)
Screws G (2 × 6P-TP BK) × 2 (Stage 21)
Screws J (1.4 × 6P-M BK) × 14 (Stage 21)
Washers A (1.5 × 3 × 0.3 BK) × 3 (Stage 21)
Monocoque assembly (Stage 24)
Gluing the lower and upper guide part to the slider guide
Take the Steering slider guide and attach the upper guide part and lower guide part as shown in the pictures below.
Gluing the head panel to the Monocoque
Remove any paint from the inside edge of the Monocoque and outside edge of the head panel where adhesive will be added. Test fit the parts and then glue into place as shown in the picture below.
Gluing the Monocoque endplate to the inner rear plate and Monocoque.
Prepare screw F, screw G, screws J × 2, washers A × 2, the Monocoque inner rear plate and a 4cm length of masking tape. Insert screw F into the central hole in the rear plate, from the front. Secure it in place with the strip of masking tape.
Place and the Monocoque inner plate on the inside of the Monocoque as shown in the picture below.
Place and the Monocoque endplate onto the end of the Monocoque assembly, making sure that screw F is passed through the circled hole as shown below.
Tighten screw G into the hole in the Monocoque, (Pictured below) and aligned it with the hole in the Monocoque inner rear plate. Remove any paint from the back of the endplate and apply adhesive to the Monocoque endplate inside the shaded area where the paint was removed. Start about 3mm from the central hole. Place it back into position at the end of the Monocoque and hold the 2 parts together for a few minutes until the adhesive has set. After one hour, remove screws F and G, and then the endplate along with the inner rear plate. Place the two A washers onto the two J screws, as shown below.
Remove any paint from the outside edges where the adhesive will be added and apply adhesive to the outlined area at the rear of the Monocoque. Put the endplate back into position and hold it there for a couple of minutes. Replace screw G into the centre hole in the Monocoque, now tighten the two J screws with the washers, into the two holes as shown below.
Hold the endplate in position with masking tape, and leave it for an hour to ensure the glue has dried.

Stage 26 – Contains: Front underbody, Brake master cylinder reservoir tanks, Clutch master cylinder reservoir tank, Brake master cylinders, Clutch master cylinder, Pedals, Skids ×2, Nosecone brackets × 4 and screws
Tools required:
HIPs adhesive
Instant adhesive
Phillips screwdriver (size 00)
Sharp Hobby Knife
Cutting mat
Toothpick
Pencil
You will also need: Fire extinguisher upper and lower from Stage 24
Assemble the brake and clutch master cylinders and reservoir tanks as shown below.
Test fit and remove any paint from the edges of the fire extinguisher halves and apply Instant adhesive to one of the halves and fit together. Hold for a few seconds until the parts are set.
Identify the upper and lower surfaces of the front underbody and the fronts and backs of the skids.
Locate the circled holes on the front underbody and the corresponding holes on one of the skids.
Insert a screw P through the hole in the skid the hole in the underbody aligning the holes of both as shown in the picture below. Repeat for fitting the second skid as shown below.
Remove any paint from the underside of the pedals as shown below and test fit them onto the underbody so you can see where adhesive will need to be applied. Draw around the out edge of the pedals and apply a small amount of HIPs adhesive to the underside of the pedals and fix into position.
Now take the Fire extinguisher and apply instant adhesive to the 2 holes and fit the fire extinguisher into position over the 2 protruding pins on the front underbody.

Stage 27 – Contains: Track rod (left) Front lower wishbone (left) Track rod mounting brackets (inner) Front upper wishbone mounting brackets and screws.
Tools required:
HIPs adhesive

Needle file or Diamond file
Cutting mat
Masking tape
Test-fitting the cockpit
Carefully insert the cockpit into the monocoque and check the join between the monocoque and the cockpit. If there is a gap between them, you will need to make adjustments using a file to remove a small amount of the plastic at the top of the cockpit as shown below.
Fitting the trackrod brackets to the steering slider
Retrieve the steering slider from Stage 25. Identify the top of the slider by locating the circular section.
Identify from the instructions the trackrod mounting bracket and place onto the end of the slider. Adjust the bracket so that the projecting thread is facing down as shown in the picture below.
Fit the other trackrod mounting bracket to the other side in the same way noting that the projecting thread is facing down. Apply a small amount of instant adhesive to the ends using a toothpick and allow to dry.
Retrieve the steering glider gear from stage 25 and glue into position on to the steering slider noting the position as shown in the picture below.
Retrieve the steering column, steering pinion gear, monocoque front plate and steering gear guide received with Stage 25. Insert the steering column into the hole in the steering pinion gear and glue into position as shown in the picture below. Place the notch in the steering gear guide over the projecting part of the monocoque front plate and glue into position as shown in the picture below.
Temporarily assembling the steering
Insert the steering column into the hole in the shock stabiliser unit, from the front of the monocoque, until the part reaches the hole. The end of the column should rest in the hole in the monocoque.
Lift the steering column a little with your fingers, to make a gap for the gear. Place the steering slider gear above the gear at the end of the column, as shown in the picture below.
Now place the monocoque front plate at the front of the monocoque. Insert the notch in the steering gear guide into the gap between the pinion gear and the steering slider.
Align the edges of the monocoque parts at the join and apply some masking tape to temporarily secure into position.
