As the Canadian Lancaster left Britain today, it was escorted to the U.K.’s Atlantic coast by the BBMF Lancaster (Thumper), two Spitfire's and two Hurricane's.

Mr T/Del When you get away from seeing this as a tourist attraction and realise the significance it does indeed bring a lump to the throat. You start to think how long can these aircraft carry on flying. When might they ever fly together again. Feeling a bit nostalgic tonight and as much as I admire these events I feel there is so much sadness involved when you think back to what they really represent in the terms of young lives and (as easy as it is to say now) such a waste. Safe journey home to all involved Happy Modelling
