Hello Fellow shipbuilders!
Again, i'm an absolute beginner at this new found hobbie of mine and hope someone can help me identify a part that has appeared in the magazine that i'm unable to identify... Please take a look at issue 17, page 10 titled 'where the parts fit'. the arrow points to the part in question but references the lower gun deck (7a). Looks like something fits into slot 6 in the middle of the victory's frame, but does not reference this anywhere (as far as i know). I'm just about to pin the lower gun deck and and don't want to have a 'DOH' moment where i have to remove the deck at a later stage to fit this unknown piece.

The part that you are looking at (6) appears in issue 10, and is the main mast support. you will need to fit this before you fix the deck.

Welcome aboard steve....and that part is the main mast support as Kirill has said..

But i can't remember receiving that part. I also store the components in one place until needed, but part 6 wasn't to be seen. Anyway, i phoned customer services and they've kindly agreed to send me the replacement part (or the full issue) free of charge. Only downside is the lady mentioned replacement parts/issues tend to take a little longer to arrive...up to 28 days. Looks like i'll have to put my build on hold for a few weeks. Damn, i was really getting into it too! Oh well, 'all good things' as they say. :-)
