Progress so far. Only dry fitted to make sure everything lines up and so I can weather the interior later on.

I am really enjoying seeing this come together, look forward to seeing what you do with the weathering. I have now decided that mine is staying boxed until I finish my Yamato and Nissan. I will then crack open the Tiger and try to build along side my Santisima Trinidad

Lovely work Nemesis, I am really enjoying watching this come together. I have been reading through the build instructions today and noticed it appears to always use super glue for the various parts, are you using mainly superglue on yours or something different? Some of the build steps do seem odd, painting all the little bits then sticking on rather than sticking on and then painting. Or with regards to hatch on top of the turret, it says to paint then later on you stick the PE on, then paint and prime again I guess that's the advantage of having a complete set rather than building it in the weekly steps.

Hi peeps and thanks for looking in and your kind comments, its been really fun to build. Hi davetwin, yes its superglue all the way, with some resin glue where needed on some of the main hull components. did try plastic glue but it didnt touch it!! I found going through the instructions from start to finish a few times was a great help. I supose if I had built it weekly then I would have followed it to the page, but I knew there were glaring faults that I could rectify, so collecting it all first before building was the best way. You can arrange your painting sequence to use your paint more economically and also make any mods you want and research the correct colours and decals. Out of the box it is a fantastic build, and for non enthusiasts who just wanted a Tiger in this scale, it was ideal. I should think I have spent nearly half its worth again on extras, but I know what it should be and wanted something special. Individuals choice at the end of the day.

Well thats all the main components of the lower hull done, just the 88mm shells to do. Everything is dry fit for now. Upper hull and turret to finish then on with the detailing and painting of the full interior.

Hi davetwin, the interior decals are from Archer and a company in Poland called Weikert.
