Andy That would be the case. It's still a thought but hoping I might be able to do something. Home printable plain decal sheets are available so will see how things go. Just waiting for that little model to arrive to see exactly what might be involved. Happy Modelling

I have to agree with your comment of painting as you go along, its definately something I am finding easier with my Yamato build.

Hi All More parts arrived for the Tender, braces and the two end parts for the base and the tender sides. I have given the flat plates between the braces a body seal type effect its looks quite good but the flash has bleached the effect out but you can just see it in parts of the pic's. More soon. Hi All This month its adding the coal chute and water valves plus the brake to the tender, all went together well but make sure you have the screw in place behind the brake pipe before glueing the brake assembly in place. One other point is that there may be sharp edges to look out for on these parts. Lastly the four outer bogies were made up ready for the Tender wheels, again just make sure everything is lined up before using any glue. More soon. Hi All More bits to add, I made up the two bogies as instructed then added the central brake mechanism to the central base. The uncoupling lever and other furniture was then added to the rear of the tender and finally the four steps at each corner. The parts were painted as i went along and still need to be weathered.
