So i am just curious if anyone else out there is in back order limbo with me. I have been waiting for my third shipment for over 2 weeks now. It sucks because i actually had time to work on it. That time is coming to an end. Soon i will be in the hole for 2 months. Anyone else in the same boat as me? (no pun intended Brian

Yup. Me too They took my money from my CC and last I was told, issue three is on back order for 2 months. If that holds true, I won't see my third issue till the end ov November. They did the same to me on my third issue on the McLaren. Building - DeAgostini HMS Victory, McLaren MP4-23, Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa, Harley Davidson Fat Boy, Lamborghini Countach

Hi Guys, Here is a bit of info. I'll paraphrase a bit as I got it via private communication. Pack 3 of the Victory is indeed on back order. There was a group that had their cards charged erroneously. You SHOULD have received both an email AND a refund. If this has not happened, please PM me your subscription number, and I'll pass it on so this can happen. (bear in mind that it can take up to 30 days for your credit card company to process a refund. They'll take it from you in a nano second, and drag their feet giving it back) Stock on the Victory will be hopefully replenished within 45 days. I'll make a call on Monday 10/13/2014, and post more info based on that. Thanks, and apologies! Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Hi BK, Did you receive shipment 4? Customer Service told me that I won't receive my 4th subscription until they send me issue 3 BTW, I did get a credit back on my CC for issue three. Still waiting for issue 3 of my McLaren build, and no charge back from CS on my card yet. Hi Guys, The short answer to all the Victory issue woes is that there is a bit of a bottleneck in the supply chain that is occurring overseas. It will hopefully be rectified soon. I'll post updates as I hear of them. Tired, Old, and Cranky!

So this is the problem while i'm still waiting , i called customer support last week and ask when my package would ship and was not told a thing about back order's at all.. told them about parts missing's and even sent a message thru the contact us page at the site and no reply as of yet. So as of now "The short answer to all the Victory issue woes is that there is a bit of a bottleneck in the supply chain that is occurring overseas. It will hopefully be rectified" Sorry guys but that is not OUR problem YOU should have had this all worked out I'M very disappointed ,, i can handle warp to hell piece's , and some stuff mnissing as long as they are replaced before i need them, but Back-Order's NOT GOOD

Thanks for the welcome... yes sort of sorry about the post but normally i'm quiet but sometimes it help's to be proactive for the company instead of being reactive if this seem's to be a major problem Modelspace should have sent an email explaining the problem to all the affected model's and all the customer's of those. I am hoping this will be the last "bottleneck" early sign's like this make me feel a little worried that there may be a much larger problem..

You could put it down to teething problems as ModelSpace USA is a fairly new addition to the worldwide group.

I have been a subscriber to DeAgostini kits for over 3 years now. It can sometimes be frustrating, and I sympathize with your problems. However, it is not symptomatic of anything at all other than the LARGEST hobby market in the world being enthusiastic about new models, and demand outstripping supply. (have you tried getting a 32 gig iPhone 6?) The larger issue is that the handshake between Customer Service and the warehouse is somewhat problematic as the computer systems are not linked. This is being fixed. This is the source of most of the frustrations that many of you are experiencing. As Tomick pointed out, there are teething issues, but these are aggressively being dealt with. With any new endeavor, these sorts of problems are unfortunately inevitable. I'm quite sure that as things get smoothed out, you will be happy with your kits. DeAgostini quality is, in my experience, second to none. The models are absolutely unique, and "you ain't seen nuttin yet!" Tired, Old, and Cranky!

Still waiting for issue 3 of my McLaren build, and no charge back from CS on my card yet. I did receive shipment 4. Just last week actually. Customer service gave me the choice of holding it or sending it anyways. I told them to send it, and they also senot me a digitAL copy of shpiment 3's book, so at least I can do something with it instead of staring at my ship every time I walk into the spare room. BK

I spoke to CS yesterday regarding this and they are expecting stock to be in mid to late November. This was also the case with my McLaren. But was just notified that issue 3 is shipping today .
