hi everyone I posted in another place on here and didn't realise where I posted it lol.

Hav been watching the site for a while and reading with great amazement on how much knowledge you all hav on the subject.

A few questions if you don't mind

1. Metal strapping on anchor wat size shud I use??
2. Thickness of thread for the anchor ring??
3. Wat kind of sandpaper to use for model and explain sanding ??

Many more questions will come in the future

Many thanks
Andy

Hi Andy and welcome

To be honest all if thouse questions are answerd in the instructions as you go. And the materials are provided.

What i would say is have a fluck through some if the many build diaries decide which ideas you like and tackle it that way.

Looking forward to some pics if your work

Welcome to Modelspace Andy, I dont know if you already have the magazines or are planning to begin this one but as Jase says the instructions will answer all your build questions. The hull sanding is very well covered in the instructions when the time comes BigGrin Good luck with it.

Welcome to the forum Andy, may your stay be long and fruitful. As mentioned the instructions are very precise in the magazines as well as the hints and tips on various builds will make you a master builder in no time at all.

Welcome aboard, as a first time ship builder myself, all I can recommend is to read the instructions at least twice and make a start. The first few issues are relatively simple (though you must make a jig for the false keel to save yourself a world of pain and frustration down the line and this is not covered in the instructions).

Good luck with it and hope to see some pics!
