Dan A model to build in your own time and not to be rushed. It looks so delicate but very impressed how there are no excess glue marks at all - that takes some doing. hope it continues to go together well for you. Happy Modelling

Thank you so much for all the kind comments, very much appreciated. as careful as i can be, ive still managed to break a few ribs, luckily all easily repaired. ive taken a little step back in order to be able to move forward i had assembled and glued in place all of the strut fittings/attachments with an after thought of "blackening" them off. Having never used "blacken-it" i thought i could just brush on the liquid and the magic would happen!! clearly not  . So i thought i would just paint them flat black, not a good effort on my part  . so i then thought i would remove them and then leave them in the "blacken-it" solution. great but they all fell apart, clearly glue was just not good enough, out came the soldering iron all re-assembled and dropped into the "blacken-it" solution. fantastic stuff when used correctly  . Therefore since my last post ive pretty much had to re do all the work i had done, but the strut fittings all look the part now and should be very strong. so heres a few assembly photos and the finished strut fittings dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4.
Working - Mclaren M23 1/8th scale to complement the Deagostini MP4/23 & Mp4/4

Thanks Guys ive managed a few more bits over the last couple of days started on assembling the elevator, the elevator control frame, landing skid and the wing struts. also managed to get the wing warping control wires in dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4.
Working - Mclaren M23 1/8th scale to complement the Deagostini MP4/23 & Mp4/4

Dan Dan - I just joined the Model Space forum because of your photos of the Wright Flyer. I am also working on this model and have found your photos helpful. I agree that the instructions are somewhat confusing and now that I have studied (I must admit, for days) the warping pulley and the rigging I am at a loss. Would it be ok if I send you a photo of the warping cable template with my notes as to what I think I should do and then you can tell me where I may be going wrong? While I think I am a decent builder I am not not in your league. Your work is beautiful.

well im really pleased with progress so far, the fuel tank and radiator are installed along with the fuel pipe and rad pipes, also managed to get the wing rigging completed and therefore the wing is now off the Jig. landing skid attached and wired up, and the elevator control frame assembled, elevator in place just need the rigging added. regards Dan dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4.

Been slowly adding a few cables here and there, so not much of a difference to be noticed! Only managed half of the cables on the Elevator so far. ive also managed to assemble the Rudder which is only temporarily fitted to the main wing at the moment just to give her the little bit extra on the visuals regards Dan dandare attached the following image(s): Built - MP4/23, Zero, Deagostini Falcon, Model Airways 1903 Wright Flyer, Senna Mp4/4.
