Hi All, Just purchased an "Academy" kit of the "GRAF SPEE" at a scale of 1:350. On the 17th December this year, it will be the 75th anniversary of the scuttling of this ship, just outside of Montevideo harbour. The guy selling the kit is out of the country for the next couple of days, so delivery will be delayed slightly. Never mind, I am going to try my best to do this as an out of the box build by the 17th December. (NO PROMISES)Especially with my day to day work load. Will be an interesting task. Wish me luck EH!!!! Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Jase, Thanks for looking in, as for the paints I`m open to suggestions, but need to be able to access them pretty quick. Don`t even know what is needed until kit arrives.(Research time) Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi All, Here`s a link to some pics of the Graf Spee in Montevideo harbour. The pics clearly show the damage inflicted by the Royal Navy. Graf Spee in MontevideoRegards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"

Hi Jase, That`s great, thanks very much. Looks like a speedy delivery service as well. I have most of these colours in the Tamiya equivalents, but will wait till the kit arrives before making a final decision. Thanks again for your input. Will do my best to hit the deadline, but as stated before I`m not going to spoil this build just to hit the deadline. (Will do my best). Thanks for looking in and your support. Thankfully, between other commitments and work restrictions I can see some good modelling time, but only TIME will tell. Regards delboy271155 (Derek) COME BACK GUY FAWKES "YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU"
