Hello everybody,

I need to introduce myself, or more correctly 're-introduce' myself!!

Some of the longer standing members on here may remember me from my previous username on the forum of - 'SennaMentalMe'?

Well, I left the forum, very suddenly, some time ago due to my personal life being in a bit of a turmoil, with things being very difficult at home and many other problems besides. I just needed a break from everything and I needed it quickly, which is why I left so suddenly without, regrettably, saying cheerio. It was time to get things in order and to do that I needed to take a break from all that was part of my life back then, including model making and being on a forum!!

I'm now glad to say that life is good again and everything is finally stable at home, so I'd like to get back to some modelling and to do some more posting on this great forum. I hope that the guys who knew me before will forgive me if I was somewhat erratic in my past behaviour - as you may well remember, I left and came back twice as 'SennaMentalMe', and this will be my third stint as a registered member, albeit with a different username this time as I have decided that rather than re-register with my old username, I want to leave 'SennaMentalMe' where he belongs .... in the past and start afresh as 'ModelMania' (I was watching an episode of ModelMania on Sky whilst trying to think of a new username ... and there it was right in front of me)!!

So there it is, I want to openly apologise to those who knew me before, for my previous on-off, on-off attitude towards the forum. There are some great modellers on here, it IS the best and most friendly forum around, it's where I want to show my work, it's where I want to come to chat to like minded people about my favourite hobby and I sincerely hope that you guys will accept me back into your fold again, though I'll understand if that takes a bit of time?

I have some nice models in my stash that need building, I look forward to sharing them with you and I look forward to joining in some great online chatting with you all again in the process?!

I'll be starting a new build very soon and will be posting a diary for it here on ModelSpace!!

All the best,

Kev BigGrin

Great to see you back Kev. Looking forward to seeing your build logs again. A very warm welcome from your Model Space friends old and new. BigGrin

As you will have already seen things have change a bit since you've been away. I hope you have been immersing yourself in all the great kits that have appeared on the site.

Oh! And by the way if you like tanks there is a r/c T-72 on its way at some point. That's if the collection is brought here of course. I hope so I cant wait. DroolBigGrin

Thanks Tony, very kind of you. I think I'll be putting two up to run alongside each other, so that I can work on one while the other has drying time so to speak?

Not sure which to choose from my stash yet, though it'll likely be one aircraft and one military kit.

Thanks for your interest!

Hello Spencer, how are you my old friend?

Thanks for your warm welcome and the nice sentiments, very kind of you and it is really great to be back, I've really missed chatting to you guys and I think of you personally every time I look at the Lewis Hamilton helmet next to my McLaren MP4/23 - thanks again for your help with those decals, it is still very much appreciated!

Congrats on your James Hunt Mclaren M23 build by the way, I have been watching your progress, it's looking very cool and I love what you did with the figure - that looks so much like James it's uncanny!! Drool Cool

Hello Steve,

Thanks for the welcome mate, very kind of you. I will be 'getting the Pipers of the ground' most definitely (love civilian aircraft, don't you?), though probably not until the New Year as I want to start off my new membership with a couple of brand new builds. I will eventually be getting back to finishing all of my previously started models at some point in the coming months though, so watch this space!

Hello Wilfy,

Great to chat with you again and sorry to hear that you've been in a dark place as well!? You have my sympathies in return mate and I hope that things are good for you now? I saw you return to the forum a few days ago and it was actually what made me want to return myself - I realised how much I missed you guys, so thanks for the inspiration mate!!

Thanks for the nice comments about my work and the other stuff, it's always nice to know that one is appreciated.

I am hoping to get back to finishing that 'Classic Airframes' DH Vampire T.11 that I bought from you very soon! Did you ever finish that 'Great Wall Hobby' build of the SWS Gun Truck by the way? That was a great build!
