Great to see you back Kev. Looking forward to seeing your build logs again. A very warm welcome from your Model Space friends old and new. BigGrin

As you will have already seen things have change a bit since you've been away. I hope you have been immersing yourself in all the great kits that have appeared on the site.

Oh! And by the way if you like tanks there is a r/c T-72 on its way at some point. That's if the collection is brought here of course. I hope so I cant wait. DroolBigGrin

Hello Glenn, great to hear from you again and yes, the forum has certainly changed!!

I like tanks and I did hear about the T-72 but I'll reserve judgement on that one as I'm not really into R/C, more of a highly detailed 'static' model builder, but that's not to say never!! Depends on how much detail is involved in the kit, if and when it is released?

Thanks for you welcome mate!! Cool

Hi Kev. Welcome back.BigGrin
I've really missed your interesting build diaries and advice!
Malc.

Hello Malc,

How are you? Thanks for the welcome and your nice comments. It's great to chat with you again.

By the way, congratulations on your recent completion of the DeAg MP4/23 Malc, she looks fabulous and it's testament to you that you stuck at it, despite having to wait months for some of the deliveries, so well done to you!! ThumpUp ThumpUp

I've also been watching your 1:12 'Yardley' McLaren M23 build and I have to say it looks stunning mate - always did like the look of that car with the white/orange bodywork and the gold wheels? She looks beautiful and you've done a great job with it my friend, well done again!!Cool Cool

Talking of which, with the recent resurgence of 'Martini' sponsored F1 cars in the Williams team, I have made it my goal to buy the Tamiya 1:12 'Martini' Brabham BT-44 in the New Year (always loved the shape and look of that car!) so I'm looking forward to putting up a diary for that one when I get it.

All the best Malc,

Kev BigGrin

Howdy Daran!!,

Yeah, good to be back on ModelSpace my friend, and certainly looking forward to catching up with you as well. I've got a couple of fresh builds to get going and you'll be pleased to know that one of them is a tank!!

Loving your 1:16 'Hachette' Tiger build mate, absolutely stunning what you've done with it, the interior and engine bay looks superb and the weathering is very professional looking - fantastic job, well done, can't wait to see the finished build!!

All the best,

Kev BigGrin

Hi Kev, It's nice to have you back & i'm glad that things are better for you now. I know Model building is supposed to be a relaxing hobby but when your stressed out it's not much fun. I think we've all been there at some point in our lives. Welcome back. Stu

Hello Wilfy,

Great to chat with you again and sorry to hear that you've been in a dark place as well!? You have my sympathies in return mate and I hope that things are good for you now? I saw you return to the forum a few days ago and it was actually what made me want to return myself - I realised how much I missed you guys, so thanks for the inspiration mate!!

Thanks for the nice comments about my work and the other stuff, it's always nice to know that one is appreciated.

I am hoping to get back to finishing that 'Classic Airframes' DH Vampire T.11 that I bought from you very soon! Did you ever finish that 'Great Wall Hobby' build of the SWS Gun Truck by the way? That was a great build!

This is a worthy forum, as you say Kev, I missed it as well. SWS is not much further forward than my last post (18 months?) Have done more on the Eduard Bf109 though & nearly finished a WW1 MK4 on scenic base.

Would be great to see your work on the Classic Airframes Vampire, I've now sold all the kits I had of theirs & never tried building one!

Happy building.

Wilfy
