Beautiful work Mick, looks a treat!Cool

That staining on the capping rails, is it a mahogany or teak (or some other exotic wood I've never heard of!!BigGrin )

Lovely progress!

Hi thank you all for your kind comments, me under no illusion there still a very long way to go , especially as I am putting the sails on . Still enjoying this build very much. Patience will get me there in the end. But I set no targets, just enjoy what I'm working on at the time.for those who like to know where I am apart from binnicle and carronade to fit to fore deck, at will be up to issue 89 complete . Cheers mick BigGrin BigGrin

Hi well added few bits since last time.eg carronades, deck guns as wanted to lash them down.thank Steve for that tip as access to them would be tricky, when they say put them in.foremast and mainmast pinrails, shot garlands, bulwark pinrails, binnicle, catheads, the blue striped eaking rails, 2 stearn davits, not glued yet case I snap them off.can be clumsy at times.stearn finished, and the rats nest around the masts, start of shrouds. Just started the setting the loops using dead eye dave, another idea to thank Steve for.at it for now cheers an happy moddelling mick BigGrin BigGrin

Happy with how it turned out.next the hammock nets, they look fun.then gonna have to build big box to keep her away from 9 kitty cats we have here. As eh getting very interested now it's getting bits of string all over it doh .cheers and happy moddelling mick. BigGrin BigGrin
