I would like to see DeAgostini create a new part works for a 1:4 scale die cast Robbie the Robot from Forbidden Planet. It is such an iconic figure that I'm sure it would be well received. It would be great if the head could be animated with lights and all the moving parts that were shown in the movie. I would like to see the arms and legs be posable, and the hands detachable (by use of a miniature RCA stereo plug) which would allow for the addition of a replacement hand holding a blaster, or holding a bottle of space bourbon, or a tray with precious gems. The plug would allow for transmission of power into the accessories for them to light up. I would also be used for feedback to Robbie so that his dialog could change depending on the accessory.
As a companion piece it would be fun to see an RC Robbie the Robot transport vehicle, such as the one featured in the movie, that the robot could fit in. There are so many more modifications that could take place - for example an OLCD screen or a liquid crystal display in his chest to further the illusion of animation.
