well here goes..i thought i would start off with a few pics of the finished pieces we first received, a few stages are missing but thats down to my nikon coolpix, seems to struggle with close up shots as you will see with a few pictures i will put on here.. (any advice is welcome but i think its the camera) so first is the anchor i thought i would wear out the edges a bit to give it a worn look, cheers benny

see if your camera has a 'macro' setting. (zoom is disabled) well it is on my camera. Also plenty of light, natural light is prefered failing that artificial will do. your build is coming on nicely. Im not brave enough to carry on lol. I need some rum to continue, maybe somebody could spare some of that smuggled brandy! i dont know what weapons will be used in ww3 but ww4 will be sticks and stones.

Hi benny! I see you've start your diary good for you!, the worn look of your anchor makes it look like it been used alot. The sea bed isn't just sand looks like the stock hit a number of rocks, spot on! As for your problem with focusing on a close up shot use a small tripod and use the timer function, this will reduce any shaking also use the zoom to max and move a little further back. It's what I have to do as my camera is worse than yours. Keep up the good work. Darron
