Hi All
I attach several photos of 1/700 IJN Heavy Cruiser MYOKO (妙高)
I have reformed a previously finished model of the ship. Some plastic parts were exchanged to photo-etching parts. And I added some enhancements on it. At this time I tried making smoke from the funnels.
I'm waiting for sea-surface plate. I'll make the ship cruise on the sea when the plate will arrive.

Thank you for your comments and being interested in 'smoke'. The 'smoke' is made of kapok cotton.

The kapok is prepared the form like smoke, and painted in semi-gloss black. Since it is difficult to reform painted kapok, painting process is to be done after preparing the form.
