Chadders87 A very nice model indeed. I always think these tamiya kits look easy to put together but to get such a lovely finish as you have done with this one takes some real modelling patience and skills. Tamiya produce a range of riders for these bikes which can add that little extra if that is an option you wanted to try. Lots of outlets for these but just as an example to show what is available have a look at this: https://www.wonderlandmo...orcycle-starting-rider/
Just remember that widely available so by all means look for your own best pricing before committing as we all know prices do vary greatly. Very well done indeed and a very warm welcome to the forum. Happy Modelling

Thanks all. I've looked at the riders a few times but they require a lot of different painting techniques that I have yet to try.. but the Kawasaki would look great with a rider sitting on it, head down and [virtual] wind in his face. Perhaps that should be my next project?? Tomick wrote:Nice work, are you a biker? No, unfortunately. I plan to get one for commuting in the next few years if I can get the wife to agree to it. Sadly it causes a few disagreements in the household, she can only see the bad and bloody broken mess of bodies that litter the newspapers. I see beautiful machines that needs to be treated with respect and love.

This really nice build, Im sure I have seen your build diary for this on another forum that I just lurk on. You have really done a great job and achieved a great finish, only advise I could give would be to keep doing what your doing

Excellent build, looks like you've taken great care and built this to a very high standard. I'm a keen biker and built loads of these tamiya models when I was young, unfortunately I didn't look after them well and over the years they fell apart and got thrown away. Good to see they are still available though Paul Building - Sovereign Of The Seas
