Hi all I have been (over the past year) gate crashing this forum mainly to assist in my first ever model build of any significance HMS Surprise. Although not up to the exacting standards of many I have seen on the forum I am reasonably proud of what has been achieved so far although there is a very long way to go. This is just to say thanks to the likes of Rob , Mo, Moriarty, Magpie and many others who have assisted but didn't know it. I have not done any sort of build log but have taken quite a few pics of not so good quality and will post some of these soon to see what you guys think Regards to all Ant Current builds :

Evening Ant, welcome to the forum, if you resize your pics 800 X 600 they will be fine, your hull looks like it's got a great shine to it. regards Paul Building: DelPrado HMS Victory. Building: DeAgostini Sovereign Of The Seas.

Welcome Ant, Like your build pick, surprise is on my wish list. I think you have achieved a nice colour on the deck and your mast top looks very neat. I would not worry about putting up more pics she looks fab and better than many first attempts Hope to see you about the forum Jase “Whenever you find yourself on the side of the majority, it is time to pause and reflect.” -Mark Twain

Welcome aboard Ant. Your ship looks great and there was a lot of time and effort put into it so never be afraid of showing it off. Just enjoy your build and have fun. The time and effort you put in will pay off at the end.
